Iridopsis pergracilis  (Coastal Plain Gray)
Field Marks

This is a very distinctive species. There is usually almost no shading or mottling in the median area. Basal area and area beyond PM line sometimes filled with reddish shading. AM and PM lines are often heavily shaded with black.


This moth has a very limited range, apparently confined to that of its food plant.


Distribution pattern: Southeastern Coastal Plain.
