Iridopsis humaria
Iridopsis humaria  (Small Purplish Gray)
Field Marks

One of the smallest Iridopsis species. It may have a purplish cast to the wings, but not always. It is much smaller than vellivolata. In my experience, the wings have a shiny look that is not found in other similar species. Also, the wings are unusually rounded for this genus.

The line pattern is somewhat similar to Anavitrinella pampinaria.

Distribution pattern: Eastern.
